No. 4 UConn Travels to Memphis Tuesday

STORRS, Conn. - The No. 4 UConn women's basketball team (13-1, 4-0 American) returns to the road to take on Memphis (9-7, 0-3) Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET. The game will air on SNY/ESPN3 and the UConn IMG Sports Network (97-9 ESPN).
UConn is coming off 91-51 win over Houston last Saturday. Junior Megan Walker led the Huskies with 22 points while sophomore Christyn Williams scored 21 points for the third straight game.
The Huskies are 106-0 all-time in American Athletic Conference regular season games. UConn is 10-0 all-time vs. Memphis.
UConn has four more exciting home games in the month of January. The Huskies resume their series against Tennessee next Thursday, Jan. 23, at the XL Center in Hartford at 7 p.m. The game will be a WHITE OUT and fans are encouraged to wear white! On Sunday, Jan. 19, UConn returns to Gampel Pavilion for the first time in 2020 to host its Husky Heritage game. The team will celebrate the 30th anniversary of Gampel.Â
The Huskies will face former standouts Sue Bird, Tina Charles, Diana Taurasi and Breanna Stewart when UConn hosts the U.S. National Team in an exhibition on Monday, Jan. 27, in the XL Center. UConn will celebrate its 2009 and 2010 NCAA Champion teams, which include All-Americans Charles, Maya Moore and Renee Montgomery.
UConn finishes the month against Cincinnati on Thursday, Jan. 30, at Gampel. The team will host its annual Huskies & Heroes Night. To purchase tickets for all remaining games, click HERE.
Four Huskies were named to the Wooden Award Midseason Top 25 last week: senior Crystal Dangerfield, junior Megan Walker, sophomore Olivia Nelson-Ododa and sophomore Christyn Williams.
