Huskies Bring Four-Game Win Streak to Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. - Fresh off a 1-0 shutout victory over Providence, the UConn men's soccer team resumes American Athletic Conference play when it heads to the campus of Tulsa to take on the Golden Hurricane on Saturday, Oct. 1 at 8 p.m. ET. The match will be streamed free-of-charge on The American Digital Network with radio coverage on WHUS.org, 91.7 FM.
UConn (7-3-0) pushed its season-best winning streak to four-straight on Wednesday night at Anderson Stadium, taking advantage of a goal off the foot of Abdou Mbacke Thiam (Dakar, Senegal) in the 76th minute. Reigning American Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Week Scott Levene grabbed his seventh win in the net, turning in his fourth clean sheet of the season in the victory.
Connecticut owns a 2-0-3 all-time mark against Tulsa in a series dating back to the 2008 campaign. The teams met twice a season ago, playing to a pair of draws.
Tulsa enters Saturday's tilt with a 5-2-2 overall record, including a 1-0-0 mark in league play. The team is coming off a 1-0 victory over Missouri State on Tuesday and has won three-straight overall.
Through 10 matches, Connecticut sports a stellar 0.70 goals against average, while scoring 1.60 goals per match on the offensive end of the pitch.
