Meet the 2016-17 SAAC Executive Board

On behalf of the Counseling Program for Intercollegiate Athletes and the Department of Athletics, we would like to introduce this year’s SAAC Executive Board members. The Board is composed of 11 leaders from a variety of teams.
The members have the unique responsibility and privilege to serve as the voice of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee, which represents the entire student-athlete body.
The mission of SAAC is to encourage student athletes to uphold the values of pride, responsibility, respect of the University of Connecticut while allowing these athletes to develop skills that help their larger local communities and foster a positive student-athlete image.
The Executive board will work throughout the year to establish mutually beneficial relationships with the Athletic Department staff, community, and student-athlete body. They will establish, promote, and participate in a variety of Service initiatives, including SBMCF funded programs, Husky Reach and Goal Line, as well as professional development initiatives during the school year.
