Husky Advantage Hosts Spring Week for Student-Athletes

STORRS, Conn. – The Husky Advantage Center for Athletic Leadership and Enrichment hosted three events last week for Spring Week in conjunction with the UConn Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
The events were open to all UConn student-athletes to provide professional development and Name, Image and Likeness education.
Spring Week kicked off with keynote speaker Eileen Crossin, the head of strategic agency partnerships for TikTok.
On Tuesday, Husky Advantage hosted a tailgate for student-athletes before UConn baseball hosted Northeastern. The tailgate featured a food truck from Los Mariachis.
UConn student-athletes participated in a panel for Hear from the Huskies: NIL Journeys on Wednesday. The panel featured Jess Mazi (women's soccer), Amari DeBerry (women's basketball), Nick Pronovost (men's track and field/cross country) and Rachel Woodruff (women's track and field/cross country). The student-athletes shared their journeys with NIL and navigating the policies around Name, Image and Likeness.
