UConn Women's Athletics Finishes Eighth in Capital One Cup

STORRS, Conn. – The University of Connecticut women’s athletics programs finished eighth in the 2015-16 Capital One Cup final standings as announced by the organization Monday.
The Huskies earned a total of 69 points after their fourth consecutive national championship in women’s basketball, in addition to their top national placements for field hockey and women’s soccer.
The Capital One Cup, currently in its sixth year, recognizes NCAA Division I athletics programs for their cumulative on-field performance across multiple men’s and women’s sports.
