MIAMI, Fla. - After splitting time between three meets last weekend, the UConn men's track and field team returns to competition on April 8-9 when it heads to the two-day Hurricane Alumni Invitational and also participates in the Mark Young Invitational on April 9 in New Haven.
Action kicks off in Coral Gables on Friday at 10:15 a.m. with the high jump and concludes following the 4x400m relay on Saturday. For a complete meet schedule, please CLICK HERE.
"We're once again going south for good competition and good competition," said UConn head coach Greg Roy. "Things are a little different than last week in terms of how we're scheduling events. We're starting to see more of a focus on individual events and performance. This will be a good test for our 22-man group."
The Huskies are coming off a busy three-stretch stretch split between Texas and Connecticut. Selected members of the team traveled to Mike A. Myers Stadium to compete at the 89th Texas Relays, while other athletes participated at the Bobcat Invitational, hosted by Texas St., and the CCSU Invitational.
