Huskies Ready for 122nd Annual Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA - In its final weekend of competition before the 2016 outdoor American Athletic Conference championship, the UConn men's track and field team will split its squad between the three-day 122nd Annual Penn Relays on April 28-30 and the Yale Invitational on May 1.
The world's oldest and largest relay carnival is set for Thursday through Saturday and will be nationally televised on NBC Sports Network on Saturday, April 30th from 12:30-3 p.m. Action will also be broadcast on live on FloTrack.
Last year, 48,920 fans roared at legendary Franklin Field on Saturday, and made up a three-day total attendance of 110,587.
"The Penn Relays is always an exciting event," said Husky head coach Greg Roy. "Anytime you can compete in front of 30,000-plus fans, it means something. We're excited about our relay teams, especially the DMR event. It should be an exciting weekend in Philadelphia."
