Huskies Prepare for 122nd Annual Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA - In its final weekend of competition before the 2016 outdoor American Athletic Conference championship, the UConn women's track and field team will split its squad between the three-day 122nd Annual Penn Relays on April 28-30 and the Brown Invitational on May 1.
The world's oldest and largest relay carnival is set for Thursday through Saturday and will be nationally televised on NBC Sports Network on Saturday, April 30th from 12:30-3 p.m. Action will also be broadcast on live on FloTrack.
Last year, 48,920 fans roared at legendary Franklin Field on Saturday, and made up a three-day total attendance of 110,587.

UConn is coming off a strong showing at the two-day Larry Ellis Invitational, hosted by Princeton. The team tallied 14 top-10 finishes throughout the unscored meet. A complete weekend recap is available by CLICKING HERE.
Connecticut held its spot as the No. 2 team in the Northeast in the most recent USTFCCCA regional rankings, earning a total of 494.17 points in the weekly poll.
