STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut women's ice hockey team will hit the road again for a two-game road series with RPI beginning Friday, Oct. 14 at 6 p.m. at the Houston Field House.
The Huskies are currently 2-1 overall after a two-game sweep at Union to start their season and a 3-0 loss to No. 2/3 Quinnipiac in their home opener.

UConn and Rensselaer met two seasons ago back in Troy, N.Y. for a two-game series. The Huskies went 0-1-1 against the Engineers in late October of 2014, starting off with a 4-1 loss in game one and a 2-2 draw in game two. Senior Kelly Harris (Canton, Mich.), at the time a sophomore, was responsible for two out of three UConn goals that series.
Junior goaltender Annie Belanger (Sherbrooke, Quebec) has seen 178:40 of the 180 possible minutes in net for the Huskies, recording 76 saves good for a .950 save percentage with a 1.34 goals against average.

Rensselaer is coming off a two-game road series at Robert Morris that ended with 1-1 tie after overtime, which snapped RPI's four-game losing streak. The Engineers went 0-1-1 against the Colonials, suffering a 6-3 loss in game one.
