UCon Drops 6-1 Match to Quinnipiac

HAMDEN, Conn. - The UConn men's tennis team played their first dual match of the fall on Saturday at Quinnipiac, falling to the Bobcats 6-1. The Huskies will be home for a pair of matches on Sunday.
UConn's Christopher Toner (South Hamilton, Mass.) and Jacob Spreyer (Denver, Colo.) picked up a doubles victory, beating Jonas Kuwert and Willem van Biezen, 6-3.
In singles play, Spreyer picked up the Huskies only victory, winning at #3 over Julian Rozenstein in three sets, 3-6, 7-6 and 6-3.
The Huskies will host instate rivals Sacred Heart and Hartford on the UConn Tennis Courts on Sunday.
