Post-Game Notes
- With Thursday's win, UConn improved to 6-1 all-time against UCF. Connecticut has won each of its last three games against the Knights, and the Huskies are now 3-0 at home in the series.
- Connecticut now sits at 2-2 on the year in games played at Gampel Pavilion. Thursday's win snapped a two-game losing streak in Storrs for the Huskies.
- UConn's 11 3-pointers against the Knights marked a season-high for the team. Five players connected on a 3-pointer, and two players (Omar Calhoun and Ryan Boatright) finished the contest with at least three made shots from beyond the arc.
- Calhoun has now made 11 3-pointers in the last five games for the Huskies. His 42.9 percent from behind the arc leads all UConn players this season.
- The Huskies tallied 21 assists vs. UCF on Thursday. That total ranks as the second-highest mark on the season for UConn. Connecticut had 22 assists against Coppin State on Dec. 14.
- Connecticut finished the game with a 10-3 advantage in steals. UConn's 10 steals were the second-highest total in a game this season, and UCF's three steals tied a season-low for a Husky opponent.
- Sophomore guard Terrence Samuel had one assist against the Knights to bring his season total to 24. He had 24 assists all of last year.
- Daniel Hamilton and Ryan Boatright each finished Thursday's game with seven assists. Boatright has now had at least six assists in Connecticut's last four contests.
