Men's Basketball Takes On Fordham

STORRS, Conn. - The University of Connecticut men's basketball team will play Fordham, out of the Atlantic 10 Conference, on Friday at the XL Center in Hartford. Game time is 7:00 p.m. and the game will be televised on SNY and heard on the UConn IMG Sports Network. UConn is 8-2 on the season while Fordham is 2-8.

UConn is coming off an 84-50 victory over Maryland Eastern Shore on Monday, the Huskies' fourth win in their last five games. UConn is led by the guard tandem of junior Shabazz Napier (16.6) and sophomore Ryan Boatright (15.1). Fordham is coming off a 63-60 win over

Princeton, snapping a five-game losing streak. The Rams are led by junior Branden Frazier (15.6 ppg) and senior Chris Gaston (12.5 ppg, 7.8 rebounds per game).
