Huskies Begin Action At The IC4A Championship

PRINCETON, N.J. - Two Huskies were in action this evening on the first day of the IC4A Championship, as Jesse Chapman competed in the decathlon and Scott Johnson ran in the 3,000m steeplechase. Action continues tomorrow morning at the IC4A Championship, beginning at 9:00 a.m.
After the first day of the decathlon competition, Chapman currently sits in seventh place with 3,368 points. He won the shot put event with a mark of 13.63m, his second best throw of the season. He then recorded his second-best height of the season in the high jump, placing fifth with a mark of 1.84m. Chapman also placed 11th in the 100m dash (11.80), 12th in the 400m dash (53.20) and 13th in the long jump (6.23m).
Johnson, who ran in the 3,000m steeplechase, placed 16th crossing the line in 9:10.81.
Action at the IC4A Championship will begin tomorrow at 9:00 a.m. with the 110m hurdles of the decathlon, while the hammer throw will start at 10:00 a.m. Live Results can be found HERE.
