WAKEFIELD, Mass. - University of Connecticut women's ice hockey freshman Emily Snodgrass has been chosen as the Pro Ambitions Women's Hockey East Player of the Week for the week ending November 20.
Snodgrass, a forward from Eagan, Minn., totaled three points on two goals and an assist in a 1-1 weekend for the Huskies. Against No. 5 Boston University, she scored a pair of goals, including the first shorthanded score of her career. Snodgrass chipped in with an assist on classmate Kayla Campero's (Wallingford, Conn.) first career goal in a 3-0 win over Vermont on Sunday afternoon.
Snodgrass is second on the team in points with seven and has netted a team-leading four goals, two of which have come on the power play.
