Huskies Finish 12th at Riverlanding Intercollegiate

Wallace, N.C. - The University of Connecticut men's golf team finished in 12th place after the final round of play Saturday at the ECU/UNCW River Landing Intercollegiate at River Landing C.C., hosted by East Carolina University and UNC-Wilmington.
Co-host UNC-Wilmington captured the team title by two strokes over North Carolina. Co-host East Carolina finished third, with Wofford fourth and Virginia Commonwealth and Maryland tied for fifth.
The Huskies were led by sophomore Jeb Buchanan and junior Matt Dubrowski, who both tied for 56th in the individual standings. David Watkins of ECU shot a final round 67 to take the individual title by one shot over Josh Brock of UNC-Wilmington.

The Huskies return to action next weekend when they compete in the New England Division I Championship on April 9-10 at Triggs Memorial GC in Providence.
