Alvarez Named to TopDrawerSoccer.Com Team of the Week

STORRS, Conn. - Carlos Alvarez was named to the TopDrawerSoccer.com Men's Soccer Team of the Week as announced Monday afternoon.
Alvarez, who led the Huskies in Friday night's 2-0 win over DePaul in BIG EAST Tournament first round action, registered two assists in the UConn victory.
The sophomore, who led the BIG EAST in assists with 11 in 2009 as a freshman, currently leads the conference with 14 helpers on the year.
He will lead the Huskies in their Monday night quarterfinal match at Cincinnati, which is scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m. tonight.
