Truax Named To BIG EAST Honor Roll

PROVIDENCE, R.I - For the second time this season, senior Micah Truax (South Glens Falls, N.Y.) has been named to the BIG EAST Honor Roll after her outstanding performance during the week of April 6- April 12.
The senior outfielder batted .615, going 8-for-13, during the week with a .923 slugging percentage. Against Rutgers, Truax blasted her team leading seventh homerun and ripped her third double of the season at Bryant. In her first eight straight at bats, Truax got on base helping her to score a team high three runs knocking in another. She was perfect in the field in four chances.
In BIG EAST play, Truax batted .500 (5-for-10) with an .800 slugging percentage. She also thieved two bases during BIG EAST play, three overall, bringing her career total to 35 which stands third on the UConn All-Time stolen base list.
