Taylor Named To ECAC First Team

CAPE COD, Mass. - Senior defender Brittany Taylor (Campbell Hall, N.Y.) has been named to both the NSCAA All-Northeast Region and ECAC All-Star First Team after a stellar senior season. Taylor finished the year with one goal and five assists from the backline.

The captain has already registered three postseason awards so far earning TopDrawerSoccer Second Team All-American status and the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year award for the second time in her career as well as BIG EAST First Team honors.

Taylor was instrumental throughout the entire season for the Huskies but shone during the postseason when she netted the 1-0 game-winner for UConn in the NCAA First Round in double overtime against Boston University.

She finished the season with one goal and five assists bringing her career total to 18 goals and nine assists for 45 points.
