Taylor Named To Soccer America MVPs Second Team

STORRS, Conn. - Senior defender Brittany Taylor (Campbell Hall, N.Y.) has been named to the Soccer America MVPs Second Team, the seventh post season honor for Taylor this season. Taylor finished the year with one goal and five assists from the backline.
The captain has already registered six postseason awards so far earning NSCAA and TopDrawerSoccer All-American honors, the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year award, BIG EAST First Team honors, ECAC First Team honors, NSCAA All-Northeast honors and was named to the NEWISA All-New England First Team.
Taylor was instrumental throughout the entire season for the Huskies but shone during the postseason when she netted the 1-0 game-winner for UConn in the NCAA First Round in double overtime against Boston University.
She finished the season with one goal and five assists bringing her career total to 18 goals and nine assists for 45 points.
