Stahl Named a 2009 NSCAA/Performance Subaru All-American

STORRS, Conn. - UConn men's soccer standout, Toni Stahl was named to the 2009 NSCAA/Performance Subaru All-American Second Team after leading the Huskies to another double-digit win season in 2009 and their 30th overall appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
With the honor, Stahl adds to his long list of accolades as a Husky, including being named to the College Soccer News All-America Second Team, the TopDrawerSoccer.com All-America Second Team and the All-Northeast Region First Team after his final season at UConn.
Stahl, who finished his career at UConn with two goals and nine assists, was named the 2009 BIG EAST Midfielder of the Year, while earning a spot on the All-BIG EAST First Team for the third consecutive year.
The senior led the Huskies to their 11th BIG EAST Regular Season title in 2009 and the Huskies' second BIG EAST Regular Season title in Stahl's playing career at UConn.
