Taylor Named NSCAA All-American

STORRS, Conn. - For the second time in her career, senior Brittany Taylor (Campell Hall, N.Y.) has been named an NSCAA All-American. Taylor was named to the Third Team after a stellar season where she scored one goal and tallied five assists from the backline.
In addition, the Huskies earned an NSCAA Team Academic Award for posting a Grade Point Average higher than 3.0 for the 2008-09 academic year. UConn finished the year with a 3.23 GPA.
This award is one of a handful of awards for the senior defender this post season. Taylor has been named the BIG EAST Defensive Player of the Year, to the All-BIG EAST First Team, the NSCAA All-Northeast Team, the ECAC First Team and was a NEWISA All-New England First Team selection.
