STORRS, Conn. - On Friday, November 6 in their first home game of the season, the University of Connecticut men's hockey team unveiled their third uniform that they will be sporting during the 2009-10 season, their 50th season as a varsity hockey program.
The uniform is a throwback to the first year of UConn Hockey in 1960-61. The jersey is a solid blue with Connecticut across the front and white laces at the top.
The Huskies will be wearing these uniforms periodically at home throughout the remainder of the season.
