Storrs, Conn. - The University of Connecticut Division of Athletics is launching UConnCountry.com as a portal to communicate with its loyal fans throughout the state, the country and around the world.
UConnCountry.com is a website where interested supporters of UConn Athletics can provide their contact information in order to stay informed about the Huskies, receive some special offers and notices, and have a chance to win some great prizes.
"UConnCountry.com does not replace UConnHuskies.com, but serves as a destination for fans to provide their contact information and stay informed about the Huskies," said Jeffrey Hathaway, Director of Athletics. "In this era of electronic communication and viral marketing, this will be another vehicle through which we can reach our loyal supporters. By collecting information from fans, we can better communicate important messages, provide ticket information, as well as reward fans with prizes and giveaways."
