Sunday's Softball Games Against USF Cancelled

STORRS, Conn. (May 4, 2008) - The University of Connecticut's softball doubleheader against USF on Sunday has been cancelled due to poor field conditions. The games will not be made up due to the beginning of final exams at UConn on Monday.
The Huskies finish the regular season at 27-21 and 13-7 in the BIG EAST. They entered the day in a tie for third with Notre Dame. They will next be in action this Thursday at the BIG EAST tournament in Louisville, Ky. It is a single elimination tournament with the top eight schools in the conference.
