Last season, the Huskies started the conference slate with a 2-1-0 record and finished the year with a 13-5-3 record. UConn placed second in the conference standings and set a program record for wins in a single-season (22).
Connecticut held steady in the USCHO.com poll this week, retaining its No. 10 spot with 16 points. The USA Today/USA Magazine Poll had yet to be announced at the time of this release.
