Husky Run Set for Wednesday

STORRS, Conn. (October 13, 2008)-- The University of Connecticut men's basketball team welcomes its fans to join them in the Annual Husky Run on the UConn campus this Wednesday, October 15.
This fun run is open to the public and there is no charge to participate. Registration begins at 2:00 p.m. at the East Entrance of Gampel Pavilion and the first 500 registrants will receive a free Husky Run t-shirt. The 2008-09 UConn men's basketball team will be among the many participants.
The race will begin at 3:00 p.m. at the East Entrance, across from the entrance to the UConn Co-Op.
The race is a 5K and winds around the campus and surrounding neighborhood, beginning and ending at Gampel Pavilion. There will be snacks and refreshments available at the conclusion of the race as well.
