Women's Tennis Blanked By Yale 7-0

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (April 3, 2007) - The University of Connecticut women's tennis team was defeated by Yale 7-0 on Tuesday afternoon in New Haven, Conn.
The Bulldogs won all three doubles matches to take the opening team point of the afternoon. UConn also dropped all six singles contests. The closest match came at No. 6 where senior Liz Dibbs (Allentown, Pa.) battled Lindsey Dashiell but fell short 7-6 (6), 6-4.
The Huskies enjoy a week-long break before traveling to Providence for a rescheduled match on Tuesday, April 10 at 3 p.m.
