Women's Tennis Drop Match to Seton Hall 5-2

EAST HARTFORD, Conn. (March 23, 2007) - The University of Connecticut women's team dropped a 5-2 match to Seton Hall on Friday afternoon at the East Hartford Racquet Club.
Senior Christine Burek (Wheaton, Ill.) battled at No. 1 singles for a hard fought 6-4, 5-7, 7-5 win over Ebru Burduroglu. At No. 6, senior Liz Dibbs (Allentown, Pa.) defeated Iva Gyurgina 6-4, 6-2.
Junior Jess Porter (Duluth, Ga.) and sophomore Breann Cheung (Tucson, Ariz.) teamed up for an 8-4 win at No. 2 doubles over Danielle Viola and Veronika Gerka.
The Huskies are back in action tomorrow afternoon when they play host to Villanova at 2 p.m. at the UConn Tennis Courts.
