Huskies Hand Out Meals at Holiday Food Drive

UConn Head Coach Jim Calhoun, his family, coaches and players joined a team of Big Y World Class Market and the law firm of RisCassi and Davis volunteers for the Annual Holiday Food Drive.
The Calhoun Family, team, Big Y World Class Market and RisCassi and Davis distributed 700 turkeys and holiday meal fixings to needy families. This year’s event is Coach Calhoun’s eighth annual Holiday Food Drive.
In addition to the holiday meals provided at this event, Coach Calhoun has teamed up with Big Y World Class Market for the Food for All program, a nearly two-month-long fundraising drive conducted in all Big Y World Class Market stores to benefit FoodShare and Connecticut Food Bank.
