UConn Recognized for Academic Achievements by NFHCA

STORRS, CT (March 23) -- The University of Connecticut field hockey team has been recognized by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association for its outstanding work in the classroom.  The Huskies were one of 42 teams honored with the 2003 NFHCA Division I National Academic Team Award given to field hockey squads earning a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better. 

The Huskies also placed a school-record nine players on the 2003 NFHCA Division I National Academic Squad for their outstanding work in the classroom.
