Owens and Vibert Honored by Hockey East

STORRS, CT (March 19) – Tiffany Owens (Belleville, MI) and Natalie Vibert (Thunder Bay, Ontario) each have earned individual accolades from Hockey East. Owens was named an Honorable Mention All-Star and Vibert was selected to the ITECH All-Rookie Team.
Owens recorded a team-high ten goals during the season and added seven assists for a team-leading 17 points. Vibert notched two goals and eight assist from the blue line in her highly successful rookie campaign and was a mainstay of the Husky defense. Vibert was the only defenseman to tally double figure points.
The Huskies finished the season with a 9-19-6 record, and were in playoff contention until the final weekend of the season.
