Tomes Earns Atlantic Hockey Goaltender of the Week Honors

STORRS, Conn. (Dec. 6) -- University of Connecticut men’s hockey sophomore netminder Scott Tomes (Windham, N.H.) was named Atlantic Hockey Goaltender of the Week by the conference office on Monday, earning his second weekly honor of his career.
Tomes helped UConn to a 2-1 victory over Army last Saturday as he stopped 28 of 29 shots and picked up his first win of the season.
The Huskies return to action on Wednesday, Dec. 8, when they travel to Worcester, Mass. to face Atlantic Hockey foe Holy Cross in a 7:30 p.m. matchup.
