STORRS, Conn. (Oct. 6, 2004) - While the UConn football team did not practice on Wednesday, Oct. 6, the Huskies weren't just sitting at home. The team split up into three groups, each of which helped give back to the community by visiting a different children's center in the Hartford metropolitan area. Husky student-athletes visited the Connecticut Children's Hospital in Hartford, The Children's Home in Cromwell and The Village for Children and Families in Hartford.
