Huskies Compete at Quinnpiac Invitational

HAMDEN, CT (Sept. 30) - The University of Connecticut women’s tennis team competed in the Quinnipiac Invitational this past weekend where the Huskies faced tough competition, but found some individual success over the weekend. Christine Burek (Wheaton, IL) and Ashley Petruzzi (Bradenton, FL) each advanced to the quarterfinals of their flights, and the pair advanced to the semifinals of the Flight B Doubles where they lost to a duo from Dartmouth.
The women’s team returns to action on October 1 when they travel for a 3:00 p.m. dual match at UMass-Amherst.
