Huskies Compete at Dartmouth Invitational

HANOVER, NH (Sept. 23) - The University of Connecticut women's tennis team competed this past weekend at the Dartmouth Invitational, matching up against opponents from Dartmouth, Boston University, Colgate and Brown.
Whitney Simcik took the win in No. 1 singles against Colgate, and Christine Burek and Jen LoRusso took wins at the No. 2 and No. 4 spots, respectively. The No. 1 doubles team of Simcik and Alison Adamski went 2-2 on the weekend, winning their matches against Colgate and Dartmouth.
The team returns to action on Wednesday, Sept. 24 when they host Rhode Island in a 3:00 p.m. match.
