Deibler Named to Verizon Academic All-District I Team

STORRS, CT (May 29) - University of Connecticut senior high jumper Mike Deibler (Monroe, NY) was named to the 2003 Verizon Academic All-District I Team for Men's Track and Field/Cross Country. Deibler is one of five members to receive the honor for the second consecutive year.
Deibler was the 2003 indoor and outdoor BIG EAST Champion and finished second at the ECAC/IC4A Indoor championship in the high jump event. He also finished second at the UConn Outdoor Invitational and fourth in the ECAC/IC4A Outdoor Championship. Deibler is a sports and leisure major with 3.619 GPA.
