UConn Competes at Hurricane Invitational

MIAMI, FL (March 22) - The University of Connecticut men’s track and field team competed at the Hurricane Invitational hosted by Miami on Saturday.
The Huskies took first place in two events. Ken Goglas (Randolph, NJ) earned a first-place finish in the 1500 meter run with a time of 8:42.63. In the javelin throw, Paul Pisano (Toms River, NJ) measured a throw of 64.22 meters (210-8.00) for a first place mark. Pisano also placed third in the shot put with a distance of 14.59 meters (47-10.50).
