Sealy and Pecorelli Earn Postseason Honors

STORRS, CT (December 9) – Lindon Pecorelli (LaCrescenta, CA) and Steve Sealy (St. James, Trinidad) of the University of Connecticut men’s soccer team were both named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA)/adidas All-New England Second Team, announced on Tuesday afternoon. The honors are first time nominations for both Pecorelli and Sealy.
Pecorelli completed his senior season with Connecticut in 2003 as a valuable asset to the team’s midfield. In 2003, he tallied a career-high three goals and 11 points, while adding five assists. He played in 21 games, making 20 starts, averaging 87-minutes a game. Pecorelli was named to the 2003 All-BIG EAST Second Team. Overall, in his four-year career, Pecorelli played in 85 games, missing only six career contests. He scored seven goals and 15 assists for 29 points in four-years. He was a three-time All-BIG EAST Team selection, all but in his freshman year.
Sealy, a forward for Connecticut, led the team in scoring for the majority of the season, and ended with five goals and four assists for 14 points. Having played and started in all 21 games, Sealy also added three game-winning goals, and was a two-time BIG EAST Rookie of the Week this season. Sealy was named to the 2003 All-BIG EAST Rookie Team.
