Huskies Contest Against Rice to be Televised

STORRS, CONNECTICUT (December 16, 2003)-- The University of Connecticut men's basketball game at Rice on Friday, January 2 will be televised by ESPN Regional Television and be carried by two cable networks available in the state of Connecticut.
The game, which will tip off at 8:00 eastern time, will be carried live by Fox Sports New York, as well as Fox Florida and as a part of the ESPN Full Court package. The game will also be carried on the New England Sports Network (NESN) on a tape delay basis at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, January 2.
The announcement of television plans for the Rice contest completes the television schedule for the men's basketball program for the 2003-04 season. The only game that will not be televised during the course of the season is the game on Tuesday, December 30 at the Hartford Civic Center against the University of Massachusetts at 7:00 p.m.
