Sealy Named BIG EAST Rookie of the Week

STORRS, CT (November 3) – Steve Sealy (St. James, Trinidad) of the University of Connecticut men’s soccer team was named the BIG EAST Rookie of the Week by league officials on Monday morning. This is the second time this season that Sealy has received this honor.
Sealy helped UConn to a 1-0-1 week with a goal and an assist. He scored the lone goal just 12:17 into the match in a 1-0 BIG EAST win over Georgetown. Sealy recorded an assist in the Huskies’ 1-1 tie with St. Peter’s.
Connecticut will travel to No. 3 Notre Dame on Sunday, November 9, for a game slated to begin at 1:00 pm at Alumni Field in South Bend, IN.
