Steve Sealy Named BIG EAST Rookie of the Week

STORRS, CT (October 6) -- Steve Sealy (St. James, Trinidad) has been named BIG EAST Rookie of the Week for his efforts in leading the University of Connecticut men’s soccer team past league rival Villanova, 2-1, on Saturday. Sealy earns the accolade for the first time in 2003.
Sealy scored the game-winning goal in dramatic fashion, with just under two minutes remaining in regulation. The freshman forward also assisted on UConn’s first score. Sealy is now second on the team with five points
The Huskies are back in action Wednesday, October 8 at BIG EAST foe Virginia Tech. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. in Blacksburg.
