Taliek Brown Wins Annual Husky Men's Basketball Fun Run

STORRS, CT (October 16) --  Taliek Brown (Queens, NY) paced the field with a time of 21:27 in the Annual 5K Husky Fun Run around the UConn campus.  Newcomers Ed Nelson (Fort Lauderdale, FL) and Ryan Thompson (Gold Coast, Australia) finished neck and neck for the runner-up position.

Emeka Okafor and Shamon Tooles were excused from the run.  Both Okafor and and Tooles rode a bicycle around the route twice.
