Huskies Continue Incredible Run Through BIG EAST

SOUTH ORANGE, NJ (April 12, 2002) - The University of Connecticut women’s tennis team continued its incredible run through the BIG EAST Friday morning as the Huskies downed Pittsburgh, 4-0, for their fifth-straight BIG EAST win.
With the win, the Huskies move to 13-5 overall and 5-2 in the BIG EAST.
UConn and Pitt only completed three of the six singles matches and all three doubles matches for the four points.
UConn looks to continue its BIG EAST tear at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 13 against Villanova.
