UConn Announces Early Recruiting Signees

STORRS, CT - UConn softball coach Karen Mullins announced the signing of four high school standouts to National Letters of Intent.
The signees, as of December 4, follow below:
Krista Michalczyk - Pitcher
Salem, NH/Salem High School
A right-handed pitching ace from Salem HS. The senior scholar-athlete excels in both the pitching circle and on the volleyball court. A 2002 All-State and Eagle Tribune All-Star.
Holly Calcagno - Infield
Cedar Grove, NJ/Cedar Grove High School
A three-time All-Conference and two-time All-State infielder from Cedar Grove HS.
Kristina Tolles - Pitcher/Utility
Southington, CT/Southington HS
An impressive athlete from Southington HS. An All-Conference, All-Area and All-State player who captained both the field hockey and softball teams and set a school record in the indoor track 4x200 meter relay.
Jessica Quan - Infield/Outfield
Stockton, CA/Bear Creek High School
A two-time All-League player and member of the California Grapettes softball organization.
