Huskies to Play Host to Pennsylvania

STORRS, CT (November 23) – The University of Connecticut men’s soccer team will play host to the University of Pennsylvania for a second round NCAA Tournament match-up on Wednesday, November 27 at 1:00 pm at Morrone Stadium in Storrs, CT.
The Huskies received a first round bye in the 2002 NCAA Tournament selection after posting a record of 15-5 overall through the finals of the BIG EAST Tournament. UConn is ranked No. 8 nationally and earned its sixth straight and 23rd overall NCAA appearance.
Pennsylvania defeated Seton Hall University 1-0 in the first overtime on Saturday afternoon to advance the Quakers to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Quakers hold an overall record of 12-3-1, and are ranked No. 20 nationally.
