VISTA, CA -- The University of Connecticut mens golf team compiled a two round score of 628 on Monday afternoon in University of San Diego Invitational at the Shadowridge Country Club in Vista, CA. The Huskies finished 13th in a field of 17, while Fresno State ended the day in first place with a two round total of 580.

Sean Vigue shot nine over par (153) placing 26th and first of the Huskies. Kevin O'Connor followed in 37th place with a two round total of 155 and Nathan Thomsen finished the day at 159 in 54th place. Rounding out the competition for the Huskies was John Humphrey's in 63rd place (162) and Geoffrey Reilert with a 75th place finish (166).

The Huskies return to action on Tuesday for the third and final rounds of the USD Invitational.
