Kamienski Earns First MAAC Weekly Honor of the Season

EDISON, NJ (November 5) – Junior Kurt Kamienski (Pittsfield, MA) of the University of Connecticut men’s ice hockey team was named MAAC Player of the Week by the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference office Monday afternoon.
Kamienski netted a hat trick plus added two assists in UConn’s 5-2 win over American International College on Friday. He had a part in every Husky point scored in the win, assisting on the game-winner and knocking in a power play goal. He now leads the team in goals scored with three, plus he has added three. The hat trick marks the second of his career at Connecticut.
Connecticut returns to the ice on Friday, November 9 against MAAC rival Quinnipiac University at 7:00 pm at the Northford Ice Pavilion.
