Larson Places Ninth in 200 Breaststroke at U.S. Open

Larson's time of 2 minutes, 33.34 seconds marked an NCAA consideration time in the event (2:33.74). She made the evening finals, after turning in a preliminary time of 2:35.65. On Thursday night, Larson also made an NCAA "B" cut in the 100 breaststroke.
The Connecticut men and women will next host regional rival UMass on Saturday, Dec. 9 at the Wolff-Zackin Natatorium in Storrs. The women begin competition at noon, while the men at 3 p.m.
