Ed Blair began working full-time at the University of Connecticut in 2010. He works primarily with UConn's men's hockey and women's tennis teams.
Blair is a 2008 graduate of Neumann University with a B.S. in athletic training. He held the role of graduate assistant athletic trainer at UConn, where he earned a M.S. in allied health in 2010.
During his time as a graduate assistant at UConn, Blair worked with the football team for two years, participating in two bowl games. He also had responsibilities working with the golf team and men's and women's track & field. Blair spent time working with the athletic training staff of the NHL's Philadelphia Flyers during the summer of 2010.
Blair has been a certified athletic trainer since 2008 and is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association. Additionally, he served as the Treasurer of the Connecticut Athletic Trainers Association from 2014-2018.
Blair resides in Manchester, Conn., with his wife, Lori, and their children, Lillie and Jake.
