Melissa Wielandt

- Assistant Director of Athletics/Ticket Operations
Melissa Wielandt begins her 26th year in the ticket office and is responsible for directing the daily work of the office.
Prior to coming to the University of Connecticut, Wielandt worked at Princeton University as the assistant softball coach from 1997-2000.
Wielandt, who originates from Southern California, moved away from home in 1992 to attend the University of Iowa and play collegiate softball. She graduated in 1996 with a degree in psychology and earned her master's degree in sport management from the University of Connecticut in 2003.
She currently resides in Bolton, CT with her wife Mary and son Thomas.
